Sequin Facade

Overlapping panels. Infinite shimmer.

Sequin Facade uses overlapping metal panels — each individually mounted on a concealed fixing system — to create a surface with rich dimensional depth. As light conditions and viewing angles change throughout the day, the facade appears to ripple and shimmer, making every elevation unique.

Sequin Facade - pattern study

Why choose a sequin facade?

Unmistakable sparkle

Hundreds of small reflective planes break up light, so the facade glitters by day and glows under lighting at night.

Texture with depth

Overlapping layers give even a plain box building a tactile, premium skin.

Gradients & patterns

Mix finishes plate by plate for ombré fades, stripes or brand patterns.

Modular & repairable

Each plate is independent — a damaged sequin is swapped without dismantling the facade.

How does a sequin facade work?

Grid

A stainless mesh, rod or rail grid is fixed to the facade frame.

Hang

Sequins are hooked or riveted in overlapping rows, upper over lower, so rain runs off.

Compose

Finishes are placed to the pattern plan; lighting is added if required.

Types, materials & finishes

Static sequins

Riveted plates for a stable, scale-like texture.

Flutter sequins

Loose-hung plates that ripple gently in the breeze.

Gradient sequins

Two or more finishes blended across the facade.

Shape mix

Combine shapes and sizes for a bespoke surface.

What is the difference between a sequin facade and a coin facade?

Sequins are smaller and overlap like scales to create texture and shimmer. Coins are spaced discs set at calculated angles to form images or patterns. Choose sequins for surface sparkle, coins for pattern and imagery.

We specify fixings and spacing that limit plate-to-plate contact to keep sound minimal. For noise-sensitive areas such as bedrooms, we recommend static riveted sequins.

Each plate is mechanically fixed with stainless steel hooks or rivets, and the system is engineered for the site’s design wind load. Fixings are checked during routine inspections.

Yes. Plates are finished individually, so you can mix two to four tones for gradients, stripes or brand patterns.

Yes. Sequin walls work well in lobbies, ceilings, retail interiors and feature walls, often in lighter gauges than exterior work.
